Luxury Safari
The finest lodges and tented camps, private throughout.
Premium lodges and small luxury tented camps in prime locations, a private vehicle and guide throughout, and the shortest drives we can arrange. Where it makes sense we use light aircraft between parks rather than road transfers, so more of your time is spent on game drives than in the car.
Luxury accommodation
Premium lodges and luxury tented camps, usually with private decks, en-suite bathrooms with hot water on demand, full service and often a pool. Locations are chosen for the view and for how quickly you reach the wildlife in the morning.
Mid-range Safari
Comfortable lodges and camps, and the best value overall.
Comfortable lodges and permanent tented camps with proper beds, en-suite bathrooms and good food, combined with a private vehicle. This is what most of our travellers choose: the wildlife is identical to a luxury safari, and the difference is in the lodge rather than the experience.
Mid-range accommodation
Comfortable lodges and permanent tented camps. Real beds, en-suite bathrooms, hot water, restaurant meals, and usually a pool. Solid, well-run places without the premium price.
Budget Safari
Camping and simple lodges, for the most park time per pound.
Camping safaris and simple lodges, sharing a vehicle where that keeps the cost down. You see exactly the same animals in exactly the same parks. What you give up is comfort in the evening, not wildlife during the day, which is why this suits younger travellers and anyone who would rather spend the money on more days.
Budget accommodation
Public campsites with dome tents and shared facilities, or simple guesthouses and basic lodges. Our crew pitches camp and cooks. Bring a sleeping bag or hire one from us.
